Looking at the walls before him
He reminiscence his life full of sin.
The blood of his victim in his hands
The dog eating her skin in strands
Her face split ear to ear, a second smile.
The sight of it, truly of pure vile
Her body battered and bruised to her knees,
Raped and scarred, only death could set her free.
Feels not pain as he washes with hot water,
However, the person he killed was his daughter.
He now observes the room for an answer why
For he has to be the one who dies
However, as he sits he begins to feel guilt
Forcing the breath of another to wilt
He begins to cry tear of insanity
One minute left, he begs for humanity.
He begs for forgiveness toward his lord
The calls have no means, his prayers ignored.
He accepts fate as he closes his eyes
He pulls himself together he is set to die.
He wonders what led him down the road
What has led him to this seat he was bestowed
Whether it was part of a sick and twisted fantasy,
Or whether the loss of his wife sent him to lusty ecstasy.
Was he born to be as sick as this?
Or was he a victim of his sexual bliss.
As the clock clocks down the second, He yells “kill me”
His god, his Executioner, they all seem to agree.
They pull the switch as the electricity crackle.
He begins to shake violently in his shackles.
He let’s out a giant smile as he looks high.
His spirit flies into the midnight sky.

Description:
I wrote this after I found that the Death Penalty no long applied in New Jersey. Honestly with all of the rapist, murderers and pure insane idiots here I don't see why they decided to abolish it, I wrote this specifically about this article about Rowan Ford
I tried to make an even ground and write for both sides, but alas there is little I can do for Pure Insanity, so The Poem might be slightly one sided... - Date: 01/08/2010

- I think its amazing that this came from the fealty penalty. Hays when I was reading this I was like does this person always think this dark? But all in all this is a REALLY good poem. It reminds me of the song pumped up kicks. Its like you went Into an insane persons mind. Or at least it was pretty close. 5stars
