Stop! I won't hear you speak
My ears have deceived my heart far too many times
My eyes have always known the truth
But my ears
my ears
They led my heart to believe my eyes were wrong
They don't know what they see
What we hear is the truth, they say
Are those eyes with any help late in the night
When they see nothing?
Are we not the reliable ones
when the eyes have failed?
