• From now I know I've came a long way
Beginning as a small and hurt stray
I wandered the streets with no home
I guess I was nothing but alone

I'd stop in the fields and meadows that swayed
But when winter came we'd both go away
Soon I was faced by an icy doom
I knew I was to be going too soon

But then came a medium sized man
With his fair hair and light tan
    His brown eyes, light topaz
In my mind he's the best I've ever had

We roamed the world as one
    We were in love
But soon and just like winter
He left me with nothing to remember

Now I know I've came a long way
No longer a small and hurt stray
