S ad misunderstood children roam the darkness
T ogether they struggle
R emembering there past and never looking towards the future
E nding their hunger strike doesn't seem possible
E nraged at how their parents just changed the channel
T ime to raid the bins for another day of life
L ost beyond any words the elders could define
I gnited flames of the young simmer under bridges
F rozen hands inside sweater pockets
E nergy wares out of the nobodies as they walk on
