Gentle little butterfly,
Flutterby,
your silken wings
brush my face as you
reach for the creamy blue sky.
Pretty little butterfly,
Flutterby,
your bright colors
dazzle my eyes as you
float freely on a warm breeze.
Bashful little butterfly,
Flutterby,
you dance away
when i get too close
and reach once again to the sky.
Fragile little butterfly,
Flutterby,
I watch your small
delicate body as it lifts away like magic.
Paltry little butterfly,
Flutterby,
you are so small
and yet carry a burden on your back.
Flimsy little butterfly,
Flutterby,
I cannot bear to watch
slowly you fall away from your sky, your prize.
Desperate little butterfly,
Flutterby,
your wings beat furiously
as furiously as such tiny wings can.
Depressing little butterfly,
Flutterby,
you never reach your goal
you see the sky is not a place to be reached.
Solemn little butterfly,
Flutterby,
not quite so jovial
not quite so beautiful; you accept defeat.
Content little butterfly,
Flutterby,
you leave this battle for another day
another day, and you'll fly back again.

- Title: Flutterby
- Artist: Kurokawa Haru
- Description: This is just a poem about a butterfly, slightly related to the fact that a butterfly symbolizes freedom, and is sometimes associated with the holocaust and the freeing of the war-prisoners. Or at least I associate it with that. Also, the butterfly's original name was 'flutterby'.
