To live in north-west Washington is to live in rain,
to be soaked to the bone time and again.
To live in north-west Washington (the record shows)
is to think it a miracle if four times it snows.
To live in north-west Washington is to know that, to have any fun,
you must not wait inside for the glowing warmth of the sun.
To live in north-west Washington is to go to the beach,
but to know that swimming would be too cold for speech!
To live in north-west Washington can seem rather dreary,
because the sky is almost always overcast and teary,
but I would stay here a hundred years more
to stay with my family and friends I adore.

Description:
The whole thing ( To Live in North-West Washington) wouldn't fit in the title space. (lol)
I live in north-west Washington and I do not exaggerate about the weather! Around here it's 70% rain, 20% sun, 1% snow, and 9% other precipitation. ( eg. hail, sleet, and cats and dogs, lol.) - Date: 03/19/2011
