The spark had been gone for so long til you came
Giving me something to write once more
Just when all my words sounded fragile and lame
I had been washed up onto a distant shore
where I was sputtering and gasping for air
I was soaked to the bone and chilled to the core
Just when I'd given up, you were standing there
With a voice like a phoenix to end my chill
No other source of warmth could ever compare
Let all of those jealous gods do what they will
They wont hold me back from this beautiful thrill
