    Flooding the city like rain
    Doom sweeping over hearts
    Like swift and numbing pain.
    Ashes sticking to my feet
    Ashes in my eyes.
    Blurring everything ahead of me
    Concealing all the lies.
    Ashes silently floating
    Through the thick and and smoky air
    Ashes spilling from my mind
    Ashes everywhere.
    Ashes clouding up the sky
    To my touch they burn.
    Ashes forming a path of destruction
    From which there is no return.
