The raw stench of alcohol
Can kill doves as white as
God Himself.
The self loathing and
Verbal abuse can even
Shoot down Angels
Of up High.
You want me to love you
Respect you, bath your feet
In Holy water when I’d rather
Bathe you in your own
Filth.
Filth everywhere. Filth as far as the
Eye can see.
You taught me not to judge.
You taught me not to hate.
Yet, you have taught me to be a
Hypocrit.
The rapture will surely take us both.
We are not clean, or pure, or anything
Special.
We’re maimed, heartbroken, blood of my blood,
Loans of my loans, leaches, flesh eating
Zombies too far gone to save.
Yet, I saw that light.
The light at the end of the long,
Black, dark, devilish tunnel.
I yearned for it to wash me clean,
And when it did, you cursed me and said
I had bathe in a river of putrid,
Black dye that is more permanent than sin.
Heaven help me, for I am about to comment
A most vile and twisted evil.
I am about to spread my torn and battered wings
And fly, fly, fly, fly away from your
Blood stained talons.
Will I be blessed on my journey,
Or will I be condemned to an eternity of
Sufferings far worse that those pains
That I have already suffered, and suffered since
I was young enough to know what
Suffering was.
You brought me into this world through
Suffering.
Is that all I am to ever know?
