Once upon a time, I dreamed an impossible dream
- a dream about you and me.
It wasn't a fairytale as it would seem,
No it wasn't, but it was just you and me.
You took me by the hand and brought me away,
You never looked back, but you went on and on,
And so we stopped, and our hands began to sway.
And so, my heartbeat was so fast that it might have to run.
It was a warm sunny day,
And the skies have never looked that blue that day,
You slowly clasped both my hands and turned to say,
Those words that I would never expect you to say.
Before you were about to speak, I woke up.
Thank God that it was all a dream,
And because of that dream, I refuse to look up,
Because I fear that it would one day, wouldn't be just a dream.

you also rhymed up with up and dream with dream.
you have a long way to go, but this is a start, remember there are more rhyme systems than
