-
Beyond the veil and through the decay,
you shall find a gate betwixt hanging gardens.
No key is required to enter,
and there are no guards or wardens.
"Enter at your own risk!"
Sayeth the sign you shan't ignore.
But should you come in,
there is a whole new world to explore.
Black cobblestone pathways,
and pale green decay,
No flowers nor grace,
only plague and dismay.
Necros it is not,
Nor is this place hell.
You are not bound,
and there is no illusion or spell.
But should you be brave,
and should thee be strong,
travel down yonder highway,
until you hear the raven's song.
Beyond the fog and haze,
you shall behold a royal keep.
Beware the death laden traps,
and mind the steps too steep.
Inside is not a being alive,
and the residents doth be dead.
The last of the living,
Met the fate "Off with his head!"
Serendipity however is the curse.
In death we have discovered a new truth.
Life was but an idea and theory,
fed to you since you grew your first tooth.
And now beyond the veil and decay,
we thrive as kings of the forsaken land.
Should you dare come with us,
I shall show you the way; I shall take your hand.
