Early this morning inmates of dungeons 11 and 12 petitioned for heartier rations, and apparently seemed to think that they were entitled to at least twice what highly trained experts have long since deemed sufficient.
"These quantities might be sufficient for all of the other dungeons, but we're right next to the personnel's kitchens!", says Amos Bones, 36 year resident of dungeon 12, convicted for outrageous over-pricing and ruthless money-grubbing.
"Do you have any idear what it's like to be in a cellwith only the very meagrest of rashuns for 250-sum yeers, next ta the wundaful aromas of cookin foods? It make one feel asif they permanenly dyin o starvashun!", says a female inmate, convicted some 302 years ago for allowing her 7 children to starve to death. She prefers to remain anonymous.
One of the wardens comes back at every complaint with a very reasonable and all around applicable reply: "Don't they think that there may be a very good reason that they've been sentenced to these dungeons? Besides, where in the universe do they think they are? On vacation in Paradise? Next they'll all be wanting roommates and shoes!
All these human souls are alike... give them a pillow, they want a bed!"
