Yesterday afternoon Hellboy was caught yet again filing down his horns, the pride and joy of his family. He has been threatened many times over and now they say it is time to take action... if he is not willing to be what he is, then he should spend the rest of eternity with the souls of those he wishes to be like.
Several inquiries have been made and requests to take this issue before the Keeper, but he has so far been unavailable, and it has been rumored that he is on vacation.
Death has just returned from a long stint in Purgatory, where they are trying to fix a mess worthy of humanity. He says that he didn't see the Keeper once while he was there, but that as long as it didn't take any more time from his sadly backed up schedule, he would go back and check.
Hellboy remains firm on his position that he is unworthy of this kind of treatment, arguing that men shave, not because they are ashamed to be men, but because they choose to look how they wish and it makes them feel more comfortable.
Unfortunately for him, his family sees this as yet more proof that he has some hidden desire to become one of the ''Less Worthy''.
Only time and the return of the Keeper will tell, but for now, we all wait anxiously.
