From Purgatory: Yesterday morning High Court #17 was assigned one of the most controversial cases in eternity! Mrs. Doreen Hellman* was sent to purgatory at 1:37 am EarthTime along with a collie-shepard dog, Daisy*. Both died of heart failure.
Mors, the only witness, claims that having Hellman's name in his black book went to oversee her death and was very surprised when, apparently in perfect health, the old woman tottled out to a second toilet, set away from the house, built for guests at the campsite, which until very recently was run by Hellman and her husband. He left her and, she claims, never did get the pipes fixed in the house.
Mors, watched Hellman enter the bathhouse but didn't follow her in until some minutes later, and only because he felt that he would be late for his next appointment.
"Mrs. Hellman was sitting on the toilet and the dog was whining in a corner, but when she saw me the dog yelped and keeled over! Oh my lifelessness, but that old witch could kick! She almost tore the dog's spirit to shreds! I had to separate them for the trip up!", says Mors.
"Send the damned mutt down to Hell!" was Hellman's only comment. The dog, for unkown reasons, made no argument on her behalf. Intimidation is suspected.
The judge has forbidden any more information about this case to be given out until it is resolved. He has also assigned one of his own underlings to accompany two investigators sent to search out any evidence to the case, as well as to sift through Limbo Libraries for anything that may demand leniency for Mrs. Hellman, or an eternity-long sentence in Hell for Daisy.
