Opening with Kira calling out to Rangiku, who's still running for her enemy--and old friend, Gin; Rangiku seems determined to reach him, despite her state. It then cuts to Gin and Ichigo yet again, Gin telling Ichigo that fighting with him has more or less been a letdown. He then, oddly, tells Ichigo to run--which confuses the teenager, but we don't get time for an explanation; because the scene cuts to a more worse for wear Yoruichi, and Aizen, who tells Urahara that regardless of the state of things, he still has interest in Urahara and his intellect. Urahara uses a hadou that Aizen sees right through, since all it's for is creating a smokescreen for Yoruichi to launch a surprise attack.
Aizen blocks--but ends up taking the brunt of the blow, seeming to 'crack' his face. Wat.
However! This doesn't slow him down, as he's still fending off Yoruichi--but we get yet another taste of Benihime's abilities, as Urahara uses some kind of attack (( "Shibari Benihime!" )) to 'bind' Aizen.
Suddenly the bonds trap Aizen to the ground, and with the chant,
"Juzu Tsunagi, Hasobi Benihime!"
(( 'Linked Together, Playing With Fire' ))
And down the line of the bonds, line little balls of fire, and finally, a great explosion. Aizen seems weakened at least a bit by this, but as he's about to fire an insult at them, through the flames bursts Isshin with a surprise of his own--
A father's blast of the attack we're more familiar with from his son, and the chapter ends with Isshin crying this command:
"GETSUGA TENSHOU!"
