Don Kanonji has emerged back into the storyline, drawing bizarre looks from Tatsuki and Gin as he strikes his famous poses. As Aizen emerges unscathed from the smoke of DK's KANON'BALL, Kanonji is introducing himself, and when he's interrupted by Tatsuki, gets into a little one-on-one with her, before realizing just how strong Aizen's reiatsu is, and telling Tatsuki to run now.
Tatsuki is about to refuse, but he tells her,
"Foolish girl...
Allow me to educate you.
Heroes who run from battle...
Are not called heroes by our children."
He rushes at Aizen, who warns him to stop because if he touches him he'll die;
And suddenly an attack seems to stop him.
Off to the side stands Matsumoto Rangiku, sweating and huffing for breath.
"I made it...
Aizen...
Gin...!"
