• The world is a dark place
Full of selfish people who trick you
Make you think they're nice and caring
    Wearing a false face
    Disgraceful.
Looking around at all the smiles
    The fake smiles
    Such ugliness they hide
    But I see past them
    And into the ugliness.
    Greed, jealousy, anger, sin
    There's nowhere to begin
    And no place to end
    Like a circle
    But not so smooth.
There's no such thing as "pure"
    Not pure "white"
    But maybe pure "black".
In a world that judges by color
Black is dark and white is light.
Light and darkness stand for good and evil
    Or so they tell us.
Evil is evil and will always be evil
And good should do the same.
But things that were once right turned into wrong
    And darkness turned into light.
White into black and black into white
    Rightfully
    Gray takes their place.
    But
The scales tip in wrong's favor.
The world starts in light gray.
    There is no more white
    No more right
    And no more light
    But people pretend there is
So they don't have to admit to their wrong doings
    Dark sins
    And black hearts.
It's too shamefull for them to think
    Evil wins
    And good loses.
    Pretend turns into reality
    They defend their new reality
    But reality is
    A lie.
    There's no room for truth
    Under the dying sky.
