The Pond by Heathbar Snail
The crystal-clear pond was shining prettily
In the bright sunlight.
Then we started to pollute it;
It couldn’t even put up a fight.
What did you do, ‘O pond,
To deserve such treatment from us?
We are destroying you slowly,
And you didn’t even make a fuss.
“How dare you humans,” cry the animals,
“Poison our perfect pond?
The pond that gives to us our life,
And of whom we are so fond.”
But the humans did not listen,
And the pond soon turned puke-green.
And in the end, my ignorant friend,
We won’t remember the pond that had been.

If you're being ironic, five stars.
I, however, suspect you aren't, and if that's the case, dear god. I have never seen a more pop-culture-fueled stream of riding-the-wave bullshit in my life.
Vomit isn't green, clear ponds have no animals swimming in them, and the only pollutant that would turn something green is ******** fertilizer. Double-check your facts. While you're at it, look at your motives, too. - Report As Spam
