Happy 400th, Kubo! <3<3
Rangiku--awake at last?
Not much of an update on her part, but on the GinRan front, there's all kinds of fans pulling for a confrontation between the two of them.
Meanwhile Ichigo gets an update from Gin--his sword isn't the LONGEST, oh no--Gin's sword is the FASTEST.
After a mental discussion with himself about how he didn't even notice Gin's sword 'retract' again, Gin explains that the reason he didn't is because his sword can move at RIDICULOUSLY fast speeds.
They continue their battle, and Gin mentions inwardly that this battle is 'gonna drag on'--but what does that translate into? Is Gin POINTEDLY going to drag out the fight? This could play into the significance of Rangiku waking up.
Aside from that--Aizen and Isshin! Good lord, Aizen-sama--WHAT ARE YOU DOIN SIR! Merging with the Hogyoku, and now saying that your soul will be 'reconstructed'? What on earth are you on about, dear?
This chapter closes with Aizen informing Isshin that:
"It seems that, at long last, my soul has begun to understand the will of the Hougyoku."
. . .
WAT.
Now what on earth this means, I have no idea.
Is Aizen about to go supernova and explode? Is he going to go SUPARBEASTMODE and freakout? Or is he MISunderstanding the will of the Hougyoku, and will be destroyed by it instead?
HMM.
Discussion!
- Gin's fight with Ichigo--will Rangiku step in?
- What of Kira, his poor, tossed-off-balance lieutenant?
- Isshin and Aizen fighting--we're finally getting back to it? 8D
- Isshin's power--he's kickin the s**t out of Aizen; something tells me he's muuuuch stronger.
- Aizen merging with the Hogyoku. Wat.
- And as always: Missin' the Hueco Mundo crew, ever still~
