So Isshin is generally confused, Aizen enjoys to talk, Ichigo still likes to interrupt serious moments, and the Hogyoku is Aizen's prom date.
With the new chapter for this week comes a new explanation of the Hogyoku!
The Hogyoku's powers have been LIED about O:
Onoes.
It's true powers are that it can capture and materialize the 'hearts' or desires of anything existing around it.
Confused yet?
Aizen goes on to explain that all of the happenings--the 'miracles'--that centered around Urahara, Ichigo, and Rukia, were all the doing of the Hogyoku.
The reason Urahara didn't get the Hogyoku's real power was because his own desire told him that it could control the line between shinigami and hollow.
The reason Ichigo got all of his power from Rukia was because she was still all sad over killing Kaien.
The reason Orihime and Chad gained their powers was because they "cursed their own powerlessness from the bottom of their hearts."
Aizen explains that the reason he figured all this out was because if it were true that the Hogyoku controlled the Shinigami/Hollow boundary, Shinji & co. would not have turned into TOTAL Vizards.
He tells a stunned Isshin that the Hollowfication they went through was just an experiment to test the Hogyoku's power, and that more or less, Urahara WISHED that this would work, thusly it did.
And then we start gettin' personal.
Aizen informs Isshin that it was he who sent Rukia to Ichigo, BUT there's a limit to this power.
Apparently if you wish for something but you're not strong enough to realize it or to obtain it, it's noooot happenin.
He calls it 'The power that guides in the direction of desire.'
Only, just as Ichigo drops in on Isshin and Gin joins up from chasing him as well, Aizen seems to begin to 'change', the Hogyoku clothing him again and just as he seems to be getting somewhere--BAMF!
Kisuke Urahara B)
Sending a slice through Aizen's shoulder from Benihime, he appears uptop of some building from the looks of it, about to join the fray.
END.
Discussion!
- The Hogyoku's TRUE power. What is this gonna mean for the end of the arc?
- Aizen's 'understanding it's true powers'. Hmmmm...Something tells me this won't end well.
- Urahara showing up--what will this mean for the fight now?
- In panel 2 on page 4 Aizen has a unibrow.
- The hogyoku's power to grant clothing--what a shame.
- And, as always--Hueco Mundoooo I miss everyone. ; ; <3
